Bergmann started for the Nats on Tuesday, and he turned in a solid outing, lasting 5
2/3 innings and giving up three runs on seven hits. It could have been worse for
Bergmann, but Ryan Zimmerman made the play of the game in the fifth inning. With
runners on first and second with one out, Wright hit a sharp ground ball that Zimmerman
backhanded. He then made an off balanced throw to Ronnie Belliard for the force out
at second, while Belliard was able to throw to first baseman Tony Batista for the doublplay.

Moyer gave up six hits and six earned runs in 5 1/3 innings in his last outing on Tuesday
against the Braves. Moyer struck out four, walked three and gave up one home run.
Moyer threw 84 pitches, 47 for strikes. When the crafty 44-year-old lefty takes the
mound on the final day of the season, the Phillies will look to the veteran for a strong
performance.
