He leaned in.  No that it wouldn't have hit him anyway, but he wanted to get hit.  BS!

Utley is such a punk.  Why don't we call up Lannan to break Utley's wrist again before the playoffs?

good job Arnie.. You are sure earning a spot on the Columbus Clippers staff for next year.  Damn I am so happy that we are laying down for the Phillies yet again.

Well, I'm done with this game tonight.

Definitely an embarrassment.

...and this is another reason I didn't want to be on national television.  I don't want the the things that this team has accomplished this year to be ruined by a terrible performance that all the country can see.

I dread being on FOX tomorrow.

I know a Phillies fan at work. She says the way to be sure to beat the Phillies is to get behind them by five or six runs. Apparently, they lose a lot of these games.

Of course, that was much earlier in the season.

i know the phillies r pwning right now, and that's what a true playoff team should do. Take care of business. I'm not accepting the loss, but it just shows you the disparity between a team like the Mutts and the Phillies.

even when we get an out the runner still gets on.. Damn, there is absolutely no excuse for this play.  Why didn't we play this poorly in NY?

I was thinking the same thing.  In fact, they should bring him in out of the bullpen, for the express purpose of hitting Utley.  We struck out Ryan Howard 4 times in one game last time.  Homers.

Nationals nothing
Phillies 6

Passed ball.  Take your base.

Is that Phillies mascot supposed to be an eagle, like ours?  The Phillies fans must have beaten the crap out of him a few times.

I dunno. I only caught him swinging and running... If strike three gets dropped or gets by the catcher, and there's no one on first, the hitter can run. I think that's right anyway.
