Even Charlie and Dave are laughing about how quickly the Braves erased our hard-earned tie

*sigh* there's the RBI

They make it look so easy, and we make it look so difficult.  Ugh.

They know how to manufacture runs and don't always "swing for the fences".

Ya just knew the Nats weren't going to hold em.  The Braves have something the Nats don't: an effective offense.   :?

This pretty much sums up the entire year when it comes to scoring runs for Washington.  Every single run is like a monumental effort for us.

Everyone in the Braves lineup has at least one hit except Francoeuer and the pitcher.

...and I hope Francoeur doesn't get a hit before I finish this post.

And now comes that pissy...miserable...wimpy phrase that every sports fan loathes to hear:

There's always next year.

You know what's really sad?  That we give up on a 6-2 game.  Literally any other team in the Majors would consider this still a reasonably close and very winnable game.  That's how bad our offense sucks.

So true...I feel like the only time we can come back is from 3 runs or less.

We have three hits and two of them are from #7 and #8 in the batting order.  Everyone #2 through #6 is doing no damage.

LOL Jose will donate money for every homer he hits and his entire playoff share to Katrina victims.  I guess they're just gonna have to starve

I wanna keep the pitching staff and fire everybody except Jose Guillen, Brian Schneider, Jamey Carroll, Ryan Zimmerman and Randy St. Claire.
