Let's hit El Duque.  HARD!!!

The Mets are in a state of panic if they bring in a starting pitcher in relief.

We are missing sportsfan, spidernat, and a few other regulars.  It would be nice if they were here... and nice.

We've GOT to score some runs here, I don't trust our bullpen with a 1-run lead for 3 more innings, no way.

Perhaps they staged a walkout?

The Nats have broken the major league record for pitcher substitutions this year.

The Nationals MLB board is dead as usual.  The Mets MLB message board is as hilariously negative as they described last night.  Virtually every THREAD has a very negative title.  A few "C'mon now threads."  Losing is just not fun and internet posters air their feelings. Example: "WOW THE METS ARE GOING TO BLOW ANOTHER ONE."

If we maintain the lead here, do you bring out Rauch in the 8th or save him for the 9th?

This game is not as important as bringing Cordero out to forget yesterday. It was awesome to see him actually fired up. Let him use that energy.

We need to score more, either way.
