Of course.  We all want want the Nats to win, but at this point we also recognize pretty early on when they are playing like the Nats of June, and when they are playing like the Nats of July, and this game looks more like a July game :?

Isn't that the truth!

As unlikely as I know it is, I would really like it if we could knock "D-Train" () down a peg tomorrow night.

Who's starting tommorow?  I'm going on Thursday.

Could we get someone to "pinch manage" for Frank Robinson?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

And now we get Willis vs. Halama tomorrow.

Thanks Frank!

It's true I just heard Charlie Slowes mention it on the radio just now.

I think Halama might pull it off. He's looked pretty good except in his last game...

This game was soooooooooooo important.

...and it's important again tomorrow.  We need a "run scoring" lineup.  Of course, with Willis pitching, any lineup is going to be much less effective than going up against the schlub the Marlins had pitching tonight!

Every game is important at this point.  That said, the odds that we were gonna sweep the Marlins were pretty slim, so there's no need to get too down just yet.  A series win would be awesome, but I think we only NEED a split to stay in the thick of things.

Hi, PC. There is a theory on the loose about the Nationals that they hit better against good pitchers than mediocre ones....

But we have Patterson pitching in game 4.  They're supposed to have Beckett.  I'll take Patterson in that matchup.

It was pretty much a given that we were going to lose the Willis-Halama game.  That's why this game was so important because their starting pitcher tonight sucks.  This game was very winnable.
