Nah i would like to see him start for another team. WIth Pena and Kearns we don't need him here. and we alrady have Nook off tha bench for next season, and i don't trust CHurch as a everyday centerfielder. I trust AJ, or Rowand as a everyday centerfielder!!!

I like Church's ability as a pinch-hitter and spot starter. He has decent speed and good defense. Nook just has speed. Church can also draw more walks.

I think we're okay with either.

It's so uncomfortable listening to Bob, knowing that he's already likely been fired....

The Mets are already leading the Marlins 3-0.

I agree. I don't know how he can work in these conditions.  Must be really tough

You know I really don't care who gets into the playoffs, I just want us to finish ahead of the Marlins in the division and get as many wins as possible.

lol Nook only has speed? His defense is superior to to Church. His hitting for power for averavge is better too. On;y thing church has on him is hitting for power

Yep although It surely is fun to piss off the Mets and Phillies like we have done/are doing this week.

But getting as many wins as possible means beating the Mets and Phillies.

Right but what I'm saying is that I want us to beat both of them as many times as we can, I don't care how it affects which of them wins the division or whether or not one of them gets into the playoffs or not.

But I'm still pulling for neither of them to make the playoffs.  The Braves either!

Berg has been having some really great quality outtings!  He pulls himself together after a tight spot and just goes back to his job just as if nothing ever happened.  That's impressive!

The Marlins just had the bases loaded and didn't score.  Still 3-0, Mets.

Walking him is better then serving one up to him over the plate, Don.

ugh.. Bob/Don jinxes Jason.  Prior the the AB they talked about how Jason had no walks so far.  Well of course he walks the next batter

Probably our most poised pitcher on tha staff. A true veteran who doens't let one mistake ruin his entire game.
