Does anybody else think that baseball should add two more playoff teams to each conference?

Nah, half the MLB would be in the playoffs if they did that.

Chico now a respectable .163 w/7 hits and 3 RBI's in 43 AB's compared to Livan's .197 w/14 hits and 4 RBI's in 71 AB's has become our best hitting pitcher!

Reyes hit one that got stuck in the outfield fence padding just below the yellow line, Wily Mo couldn't find it, they ruled it a ground-rule double.

12 teams?? six in each league?? Its always a team or two that gets left out undeservingly.

I was exaggerating slightly but I still think that's too many teams in the playoffs.  I think the current format is pretty good compared the alternatives.  If you just played the top 4 or 5 teams from each league, money teams would dominate the playoffs every year.  If you do it your way, too many mediocre teams get into the playoffs and increase the odds of more deserving teams getting knocked off in short series.

Mark Lerner is in the booth with Don and Bob, though.  That's ironic considering the rumor that Bob is on his way out.

1 out, Reyes on second, 1-1 count to Wright at the moment.

In tha AL at least 1 90 win team gets left out every season. This season two will be left out. That not fear.

That was  a brutal inning that luckily we only gave up one run.

Yeah but I doubt it's a done deal yet. If it's a done deal then there is nothing that can be done about it because they have their man already chosen. Maybe it's still up in the air and Bob is trying to get some fan support in his favor for negotiations. I would like to see Mel Proctor back but don't really care for the most part. I suspect they may want a younger man for the job.

That's a rumor that has been bouncing around for a while. I don't believe it. At least not at this point in time. Maybe in a couple years.

That's embarrassing from Lopez. He got picked off twice in the same at bat.

Felipe, when #3, #4, and #5 are coming to bat, it's more important that you stay on base than that you get a good jump!

I would like to see Guzman come back for the final week, if for no other reason than to see Felipe on the bench.
