ANd Maxwell plays centerfield at that. Hows his defense tho. Could he repalce Nook?

Pena Maxwell, and Kearns next year?

he was the top HR hitter in the system. He's not very young (24), so this is his time to show his stuff if he wants his shot next season. He's really fast, too.

Bowie's ability to get people out always surprised me, actually. Colome's a streaky-type pitcher.
Bowie usually has great command of his pitches.  I think the starting pitching thing overworked him.  I hope he comes back as a lefty reliever next year.
Colome was devestasting earlier this year.  Right now he can't find the plate.

We need at least three more runs this game.

Maxwell's specialty is Center Field.  He also has tremendous speed.  We might not have to worry about this Nook Logan bullcrap any more in due time.

What's truly impressive is that he's absolutely crushed pitches in both of his plate appearances.  He went opposite field at RFK and hit one to the warning track.  He has serious power.

All in favor of replacing Nook w/ Maxwell say "aye".

Or keep nook as bench guy and start maxwell. you see his power. he could hit at least 20 homer4s next season.

Bowie's always had that control, which kept him in the league this long. But I'd guess his starting probably gave away any advantages he had. Colome was expected to be the Devil Ray's closer, but he ALWAYS seems to hit rough patches. He really did look great before his injury, though. I'm a fan.
