I'm just making a brief appearance to say this:

Those hideous Nike Shox cleats that Zimmerman is wearing are def not helping his cause. Those are terrible. He needs to go back to wearing Jordan cleats or regular Nikes.

Doesn't matter what he's wearing dude. You're like a chick worrying about the players' fashion statements. I'm more concerned with the fact that they have become unwatchable whether people are willing to admit it or not.

me too.  The carelessness is just sickening.  I'm sure the mediocre James will shut us down tonight.

Last night's game left a bad taste in people's mouth. Personally I'm counting the hours for tomorrow. I'll be at Fed Ex by 10 drinking a cold one with steaks on the grill.

I too can't wait until 1:00 tomorrow.  I'm not going to the game but I'll be watching in my basement with my family on our 50 inch plasma.  Nothing better than NFL sundays.  Games on from 1 PM until like midnight.

I hope it's not as hot as it was today because I'll be under the sun all game long.

Felipe is just a complete headcase.  He has some talent but he is lacking a lot upstairs.  I'd just assume that we let him go after this year.

Depends on who we get to replace him.

At this point I'd even go with a Guzman-Belliard middle infield opposed to anything with Lopez in it.  Unless he has a drastic change in the way he approaches the game I would not want him back.  I think Felipe can be a good second basemen for us but if he is going to continue to play like this than no thanks.

From watching him play in every game this year and half of last year.  Even the Nats front office is pissed off with Felipe.

I left after listening to sportsfan bust Manny. Getting sick of it. I don't like when they lose, but I really don't like the nagging about it.

I can't say I KNOW for a fact that he is anymore that you can say for CERTAIN that he isn't but I wouldn't be surprised to find out that he is a bit weird up top.

I guess this will never cease since some people insist on nagging about the nagging. Maybe both are as annoying.

Until someone tells me they know someone in the front office and talks to them regularly, it's all bullcrap. These guys just aren't that good. It isn't Manny, it isn't any individual player. It the composite of all of them.

nope... Barry does in fact know people in the front office and I'm sure he wouldn't lie.

Not sure exactly what's going on, but I do know that there are some people within the organization who are frustrated by what they see as inconsistent effort. He (Lopez) gets credit for not publicly complaining about all the position switching he's done this year, but that doesn't mean he busts it every night.

I agree but comments don't have to be about the whole. They can be analyzed individually and I tend to agree that there is something about Lopez that makes me lean towards believing he spaces out from time to time. There is a reason why it has been said about Lopez that he doesn't care or that he has the attitude of someone who doesn't care. But I definitely don't blame Acta for the players' inadequacies. This game is about the players.
