I think he's trying to teach people like me that some pitches aren't as bad as they look... they are intentional.

What does Sutton mean that wasn't a bad pitch? He says that almost of every pitch that is hit hard.

He says that all the time after a pitcher gives up a hit and that isn't always the case. Being an ex pitcher he is just an apologists for pitchers.
