That was a terrible inning, right after they scored 3.

I don't know if anybody else mentioned it, but David Wells just signed with the Dodgers.  Poor Dodgers.

I thought you were about to provide us with the daily Marlins report...

Oddly enough, the Cards are playing Marlins-style defense.  But, there's a lot of time for the Marlins to implode.

Let's hope so.

Colome just has not been the same since his butt injury.  I hope he regains his form.  I wonder if Jimbo is still praying for his buttocks.

Billy Wagner just blew a save in NY.  Termel Sledge hit a game tying double

Sledge just scored. It's 8-7 Padres.

I wonder will Manny be as cautios next season with tha pitcch count  as he was this season. ANd i woner how they will handle Harahran and Lannan innings pitched next season. I hope they won't be soft on em, like the Cubs used to be with Woods and Priors

The Mutts piss me off.

So do the Filthies.

The Nats' rival is NOT the Orioles.  It's those two annoying-as-hell teams and their fans.

I believe there is a good chance that those 2 or at least 1 of them will be back in AAA next season, at least for a good portion of it.

Why not?  It's always good when the Mets/Phillies/Braves lose.

The O's choked again tonight as well.  They had a 1-0 lead into the 8th inning where their relievers promptly gave up 4 runs.  Minnesota wins 5-1.

There's still a lot of outs left in this game.

That's why it would be nice if we score a few more runs!  No lead is safe in this ballpark.

Doesn't Colome look a little bit like Jose Guillen?

a little bit.  Colome sure had his slider working well.  I wouldn't feel comfortable with him pitching another inning though.  I'd go Ayala-Rauch-Chief.

It's just the 7th inning!  I thought it was later...
