nook would be a great cf in this park. I bet the stro's would give up more for him than other teams would. The org. and the teams fan were hesistatn to givwe up Willy Taveras) a poor man''s nook) for jennings which in hindsight they were right with thay feeling

that's not a good walk especially against an aggressive hitter like Pence

But they have Hunter Pence so they don't need a CF.

walks will come back to haunt you.  Why a MLB pitcher cannot throw strikes with a 6-0 lead is beyond me.  Even a rookie should be able to throw strikes.

tough decision here.  Lannan leads off.  He's only thrown 85 pitches.

There are entirely too many pitchers reaching the big leagues that are terrified of contact.

Yeah I wouldn't mind seeing him comeback to pitch one more inning but we really need to win this ballgame. However, there is no guarantee that the bullpen won't come in a drop a deuce on the mound.

I don't know if anybody else mentioned it, but David Wells just signed with the Dodgers.  Poor Dodgers.

and a 2 pitch out for Nook... Colome is coming in I think.  He looked very shaky earlier in the week. I hope he's better
