Seems like he could throw harder if he went full windup. Hey, whatever works.

There's something weird about lefties anyway.

Bergmann should have made that start yesterday for us!  Why are they waiting until Sept 1 to bring him up?  Please don't let Mike make another start

yeah, I've always been jealous of lefties seemingly having better basketball shots and being just downright better pitchers and hitters in baseball :(

Agreed, he was ready after his last start.  I don't understand why they made him do another one, but it is what it is.  I like Bacsik, but when Bergmann's on, there's no comparison.

I guess that means we have to see Bacsik start yet one more game :?

Hey, no hurry. We're not in a win now type of situation or anything. It's just a week.

I think they were trying to keep from having to make a move but that doesn't make much sense to me.

You guys remember when we did this in a game and Livan was pitching and he got rocked and we ended up losing the game?
I know this is way late to respond but I'm just catching up.  That was a day game last year at RFK against Anibel (sp?) Sanchez.  We rocked him for 4 runs in  the first inning and he looked completely discombobulated.  Then Livan went out and gave up 5 runs in the top of the 2nd.  He was out of the game by the third inning as were down 7-4.  Yes, we lost that game and Livan was shipped out soon after.

I dispute that claim. They just look odd doing it and it usually throws people off.

Throwing people off is an advantage, though. Just one I wished I had when I was playing. :)
