howard is one of the best hitters in the game, were just not seeing that in this specific series.

howard is one dimensional he either hits the ball a ton or doesn't hit it at all

alright Joel, he gave us a chance to win.  His stuff is really, really good.  If he can learn to keep his pitch count down and stop walking hitters he can be a great pitcher.

Hanrahan's pitch count is 101.  He's probably done for the night.

Great pitching.  Only the one mistake tonight.  Let the kid come back out for the 6th inning.

no way.  pitcher spot due up 2nd and Hanrahan's pitch count is over 100.

I don't think Hamels has thrown a first pitch strike tonight.

Every hit we get is hit directly at somebody.

Jimenez strikes LOOKING on a meat fastball... that should warrant an automatic demotion.  he has done that a bunch of times

This is such an non-threatening performance by the offense.

D-Lo looking dumb as usual. Hamels really doesn't have his stuff tonight and he's still owning us.

Yep he doesn't have his control at all but he is still dominating. Nothing but 90 MPH fastballs and 80 MPH changeups

Joel did a great job - got totally jobbed by the ump in the 2nd inning - otherwise did a good job battling the erratic strikezone and limiting the damage.  Offense has to come alive - hamels is so close to unraveling - must jump on him the next inning.
