Whatever the inverse of a game ball is is what Ryan Zimmerman deserves tonight.  He set the chain of events in motion that made this loss a reality.

They should take a game ball away from him from a previous game

if only zimm didnt make an awful throw, if only rauch didnt throw an awful pitch, if only.....
if the offense could have done anything against Lohse... yep, these are the worst type of losses.  So many things to second guess.  10-0 losses are better than these type of heartbreakers...

Nook swings at a ball a foot outside the plate and at his ankles to end the game, spoiling Shawn Hill's excellent return.

man, we take so many fastballs down the middle for sttriek and strikeouts. that shyt is annoying. when we throws those, teams make us pay.

bullcrap.  3-2 games are NOT 10-0 games.  Zimmie sucked...oh well.  Hill's back, no make that BACK, so I'll take it.

This is close to one of the worst losses of the season.  We could have gotten off a great start to the homestand beating the Phillies in dominating fashion 2-0.  Then we would have only had to win 1 of the next 2 to take the series.  Now we have to beat two tough pitchers on consecutive days just to take 2 of 3.

i had hopes of really derailing the Phillies division/wild card hopes with a solid series preferably a sweep or 2 of 3 would suffice. losing this game cripples those plans. WAY TO GO RAUCH! It's not Zimmerman's fault. A good pitcher learns to shake off errors. Russell Branyan? come on now Rauch, i could understand Howard but Branyan?! I have come to grips that our highly touted duo of Rauch and Cordero is vastly overrated. We have a good bullpen because of Rivera, Schroeder, Ayala, Colome not Wookie and Chief.

Zimmerman makes the easy throw to 1st and Rauch has 2 outs with no runners on.  Rauch did choke by giving up a HR to a .197 hitter but it should have been prevented.

If Zimmerman makes the throw than the next batter doesn't get the hit because the outfield isn't trying to prevent a double.  The inning ends 1-2-3 and we're still up by two runs.

This loss is Zimmerman's fault.

No, this loss is ZIMMERMAN's fault.

Nope that didn't help. I'm still sick as hell about the demoralizing loss!
