Church has definitely turned out to be the non-event of the season...  he hasn't been bad, but he's certainly been nothing to write about, either.  Just a complete non-issue, basically.
Unfortunately I have to agree with that assessment.   :(

Church does not look confident at the plate right now.

terrible.. Only the Nationals fail to score on a 1 out triple.  Dmitri has been awful tonight for some reason.  He should have been able to knock Zito around but he has been completely overmatched tonight.

he's struggled with zito - he's vulnerable to that lefty breaking ball

Dmitri is beng over agressive. BUt its worked for him so don't get on him too much. He was responsible for all our scoring last nite

There was plenty written about him here. The extrapolation thread only gets bumped when he has a good game.

Why is it that no one throws up and inside to Bonds? They let him own the inside of the plate.

I know but that's kinda my point...  that thread got bumped every game for the first 50-60 games, but it's pretty much fallen into the doldrums now, as has all other discussion about Church.  He just hasn't done anything worth talking about for a while, up or down.
