This pitcher's suckitude seems to have our offense perplexed.

What's sick, is that this pitcher looks so hittable

Frigging storm moving in, and for a rare evening, I have time to spend in the Gameday thread...

If anyone knows Mother Nature, could you have her ease off until the game is over?

It's been hot & sunny ALL week, so one would think a birthday party at a pool would be perfect and non-eventful.  WRONG!  For the first time this week we got thunder and a little rain this afternoon starting at 3:45.  It'd been sunny all the way up to 3:30.  Party time was 4 p.m..  Pool closed for 2 hours!  Had to resort to an immediate and pricey plan B, Chuck E Cheese's!  Dan's ready to kill me for that one!  He thinks I shoulda cancelled, but it was Elisa's 6th bday and I couldn't do that to the child.  Oh well, she's happy, he isn't and I have a headache.

Please win one for me boys!

You should have went to plan C, and not so expensive with a sprinkler system and a friendly lawn

Most of his pitches are terrible.  He's throwing just good enough at just the right time to keep us off the board other than that, he's horrendous.

Let's do the tally.  Ryan Church leaves the bases loaded in the first and on defense he flubs the out that would have ended the inning?

Thought about a home deal, but the kids trashed the downstairs and I haven't gotten it straightened up yet.  So plan C wouldn't have worked.  If we couldn't use the pool, outdoor water games wouldn't have been very safe.

Playing out in the rain was fun when I was a kid, in fact I was out with my dogs during the rain this afternoon  :D

LOL, Sutton just said "PETCO is definitely not one of Bonds favorite ballparks."  Actually, he's hit the most HR in San Diego in his career, minus in San Fran and Pittsburgh.

That first inning may really come back to haunt us.
