Speaking of getting victimized, if Bonds doesn't take care of business today he's going to get us sometime in that 4 game series in SF.
Or we might have won!
He's had a day off already this year hasn't he?
Nope ... not this year - he's played every inning of every game so far
He's played every game but I'm sure he's been pulled from a blowout loss.
Just call the game already - way too risky - the last thing we need is another pitcher on the DL
This is definitely the best case scenario. This way we save our relievers and also rest the position players. We should be ready to go on Tuesday. I want us to go 4-2 during this upcoming homestand.
Puhleese getting Traber on the DL would be doing us a favor.
Ok ... why not engage in a little wishful thinking here - I mean it's a rain delay - what else is there to do ... if the delay is more than 30 minutes - Maine won't come back out ... and who knows ... we may have a chance How's that for silver linings ... uh??
First of all, I would never wish injury on any player for any reason - as it is Traber is NOT on the mound - it's Shroder and I DO NOT want him on the DL ...
Does everyone think that if Barry doesn't homer today that he is indeed going to sit every road game next week? I think that's ridiculous but a lot of the guys in the Media think he HAS to break the record at home.
I think he'll rest for a couple games and play about half of them but that doesn't mean he will get pitches to hit from the Dodgers or that he'll hit for the fences anyway.Sens that series will be in SF. By the time the Giants come to town Bonds will have already eclipsed the record.
