This catcher sucks. Is he afriaf of the abll or somethin?

Miguel Olivo has never been able to catch much of anything.  But he is particularly hideous with LHP.  Watch him on a ball moving in on a RHB.  He holds his glove with the fingers parallel to the ground, pointing to his right.  Then, when a ball moves to his left, he keeps his wrist and elbow stiff, only moving his shoulder, and swats the ball towards the 3B dugout.  When the ball is low, instead of turning his glove up, he swats down and tries to trap it.  He's afraid to call any breaking stuff to RHB with LHP, and is especially afraid to call anything low.  As for stuff breaking low an in on a RHB, forget it.  Willis can't pitch with his strengths will Olivo behind the plate.  Willis' ERA is almost 2 runs higher with Olivo than all other catchers combined.  Unfortunately, Fredi Gonzalez is even more stupid than McKeon (who once walked out for a pitching change when the Marlins were batting).  Even Girardi never let Olivo catch LHP unless Treanor caught a night before day or was dinged.  As a result, Olivo calls for everything up and relatively straight when Willis is on the mound, and  Willis hasn't won a game in 8 starts.  But Fredi "Baby Huey" Gonzalez is too stupid to notice.
