Topped out at 98.4. Has not hit 99 the entire season.

Also, his oppnents are OPSing over .700 against the four seamer. Sub .600 OPS coming in to today against the slider.

I thought that there was a minimum score before a position player could pitch in a blowout. My faulty memory was 9 runs differential. Personally I would have let Kranick throw the ninth in hopes his arm would fall off.
