Mason Adams, tonight's starter, was recalled today from the minors, while Hunter Goodman has been activated from the IL.
Both Alvarez and Adams are groundball pitchers. Alvarez's BBs are a bit of an issue, while Adams gets himself into trouble with HRs.
It worked last night, but I wonder about Crews hitting 3rd and Young 9th. If it's having speed at the bottom of the order, Crew has it. Young has been hitting better. If you are trying to get Crews going, you'd think the lower pressure spot in the order would be better.
