My friend who’s a cub fan said he knew Abbie would bust the game open and that’s he’s a hitter you can’t give that guy any cookies. He’s been swinging out of his shoes every at bat this game. Said he’s glad he didn’t start the first two games. Could’ve been the difference maker.

Can’t tell the difference between Vivas and Nunez at the plate and the defense is solid both ways. Like it’s no noteworthy drop off despite Nunez being great out there

He's really been taking a step up a level his past few outings. He's been a little homer-prone, but since his start vs the NYY, 43 IP over 7 starts, 11 ER (2.30 ERA), 4-1 before today, 44 Ks, 9 BB. Had 6 HR his prior 3 starts, but most were solos.
