I kind of like throwing Dion and Williams in bullpen game. Limiting these guys to 2-3 innings I think helps their velocity. That helps their change ups and disrupts the timing on their breaking pitches.

Through 7. I'd push Williams one more inning. He's at 25 pitches. Alternative is to give Bird a shot, with Ribalta available in case of trouble. I'd push Williams. He's not going to be available tomorrow, so may as well skip Bird and have him available for low lev tomorrow.

you are right. Cruz still could use a couple of days after throwing 3 out of the last 4 and 2 in a row. Beeter is in the same Boat. Cosgrove is probably available along with Lord. I could see not f'ng around and letting them close it out, but I think I let Williams start the 8th and be ready with one of Cosgrove or Ribalta if it goes south.
