New Mets pitcher literally jumps each time he strikes a batter out

The guy's name is Jefry Yan, he's throws 101mph left handed. In the minors he does this literally every time he gets a strikeout. In his MLB debut last night, you can see he doesn't even wait for the ump to call it a strike, he jumps as soon as he throws that ball right down the middle and sees the batter didn't swing.

Twitter is speculating what will happen the first time somebody hits a homer off this guy but for now he hasn't given up an MLB hit.

Apparantly, he's always done it wherever he's played, including Japan. Wonder if he did it whilst working as a roofer?... ;)

I mean, maybe, but if he's done this at every level, after every strikeout, this is a habit that I don't think he can unlearn.

As he appears to do it before the call, I wonder what happens if he jumps and then it isn't a K?... ;)

He also isn't remotely good enough for MLB.  If he were righthanded he'd be in AA.

The walk-off home run is not the humiliating clip for Yan tonight. It's how that lead runner who scored the winning run got on base. Yan jumped on Ball 2 and on Ball 3, then walked him.
