Team 2021 56th win came after a 2-11 stretch as the wheels fell off after the salary dump at the deadline.

This win for Team 2026 broke a 7 game losing streak that dropped the playoff odds from 10% down to 2%. Started at the end of the homestand during which the Nats traded Curtis Mead and continued through the further sell-down of Luis Garcia Jr and Foster Griffin before the trade deadline. This game also marked the MLB debut of Andrew Pinckney as well as the first Nats appearance of a couple of relievers we acquired in trade (Dion, Cruz).

I wasn’t sure at the start of the season but she’s getting there. Same thing that happened with Alexa Shaw/Landestoy when she was hired by the Caps.

I try not to hold it against her she was with the Cardinals. Have to pay the bills.  She’s likebale and general knowledgeable. Has been around MLB for a while I believe

Yeah, she used to work at MLB network doing their afternoon studio show.

I didn’t know she worked for the cardinals but then again we had a dude that worked the booth for 20 years who couldn’t keep his cardinals bias in check. I thought she had probably worked for the blue jays because the other day she slipped up and called the Nationals the blue jays  :?

Now that i am down this rabbithole, apparently she did play by play for a couple of cardinals games last season.
