What happens to service time if there is no season next year. Does that season still count for service time purposes? For instance, both Garcia and Rutschman are under team control through 2027.  But if a lockout year counts towards service time, then the Yankees and Red Sox basically just got a 3 month rental.

Big surprise if it is Tolle. Haven't heard his name come up. Thought of as a core guy. I could see Bennett if it were someone out of the rotation, or maybe Houck or some other injured guy

The Red Sox also receive catcher Jake Rogers and cash, per Alex Speier of The Boston Globe. The Orioles will receive prospect Anthony Eyanson in return, reports Andy Kostka of The Baltimore Banner. Catcher Carlos Narváez is also in the deal, per Britt Ghiroli of The Athletic. The O’s are also getting Enddy Azocar, and Kyson Witherspoon, per Kostka.
