Among Littell, Alvarez, and Mikolas, I'm most OK with bringing Alvarez in mid-inning with guys on, but what he did today klnd of defeats the idea of lining up the primary guy for the soft stretch of the order so he faces the better hitters fewer times.

Max’s offspeed stuff tonight has been fantastic. Got Lile on a 74mph curve. Got Crews on one around 83.

I got mad at Crews for swinging at the 1-1 ball, but that was the only thing off the plate he swung at. Lile swung at 3 balls, fouled 1, and fouled off 6 out of 7 strikes.
