No Mead, Young vs the righty. Nunez takes a seat in favor of a better (?) bat in Tena. Haters gonna go nuts about playing both Vivas and Tena. Abi makes his debut as DH. Only righty in the lineup is Crews.

Short pitching staff with Krook DFA'd to make room for Abi. I think Alvarez would be available today, so really not a short pen for this game. I suspect the short staff won't last more than this game and maybe a couple after the break when they will need 5 starters as well as 8 relievers.

there will be opportunities to pinch hit if necessary. Nunez also could pinch run.

Bench would be Mead, Young, Chappy, Nunez, and Millas.

Ortiz in AAA - 16 HR in 304 PAs, or better than 1 every 20 plate appearances. .235 / .332 / .481. I guess they hope he runs into one.
