Yankees repeat the top 7 from last night, with Volpe in for Caballero and Sanchez in for Wells.
Nats give the haters lots of ammo: Crews in CF, Vivas in the lineup (at 3B, with Mead at 1st and Garcia at DH), Millas catching. For me, I'm still not buying Krook in the 9th yesterday and Poulin opening today. Goes 4 hittters, faces Rosario and Goldy. So much for not wanting him to face righties. At least it'll be the start of the game.
Mikoias does have better numbers when he enters behind an opener. Walk rate falls to 3.3% with minimal drop in his (low) K%. WHIP drops to 1.13, FIP less atrocious (4.79). HR/ FB% drops from 25% as a starter to 12 %. Not good as a reliever, but awful starting.
