Opposition manager to players - 'here's the strategy for defeating the Nationals. First, it's imperative that you give them at least five runs start...'  ;)

Curious if CJ dh'ing is due to being banged up or whether it's because he can do a funny Tena impression.

Must win tonight.  Don’t pull Alvarez early if he is dealing

Big fly by 29...

Not sure why I though of this at this precise moment, but does Garcia Jr. speak any English now?  I haven't seen an interview with just him or him with an interpreter lately...

Is "Harris Teeter" (a grocery store) printed on the mound, or is it an electronic sign?

I think they use a stencil and spray paint sponsors for each game...

some. He'll answer Datt's on-field questions but uses an interpreter at his locker.

I like Alvarez but I see him as a reliever and eventual closer.

Franny called him out, needed to get dirty to stop that from going through.

Young hasn’t hit a dinger in over a month. What are the odds that he ends the season with 8?

Unfortunate. Alvarez clearly running out of gas. Fastball was dropping too much in the zone.
