You could even alternate Ford and Ruiz at catcher. Keibert can DH in some of those days when not catching.

Leave Palmquist out there at that point?  Someone else from the pen?

Looking at James Wood I got thinking whatever happened to Phil Wood.

How is there nobody better on the roster or at triple AAA that could DH better than Tena? House or Yoyo wouldn’t be a better DH? Seriously? What are we even doing here

Fascinating article about a strange device. We know that the Washington Post had a game display during the 1924 World Series. It lit runners on base, but this sounds much more advanced.

Turned into one of Littell’s best outings.

Lol was Franny trying to call out Nuñez for not being patient enough at the plate?

sure, but I'd find it more interesting if folks posted it before they know the result.

I'll admit I was a little surprised since it is the 7th. Tough match up for Luis. I can see the move.

I'm over Millas, Tena and Chappy. There's far better options in the minors and there's no reason for any of these guys to be in the big leagues. Just none.

He pulled one of the hottest hitters in baseball for a guy who has struggled since coming up. He completely outsmarted himself. It would make more sense if Chappy was actually some kind of threat but the result is pretty much what should've been expected.

mostly agree. I think a bit more  about Chappy and his OBP vs LHP (.333), but yes, pulling LGJr when a dinger puts you back in it was overthinking.

Also, it's past time to try LGJr against some lefties.

There are many high school coaches that have more business running the team and they prove it every game.

you're getting more Cornelio next inning, too.
