Interesting to see how few lefties the Red Sox are able to put in the batting order against Cavalli. Anthony and Mayer hurt (and Casas). Their internal development seemed to crank out lefty prospects but the lineup is filled with righties acquired in trade. One of  the lefties playing, Cheng, was briefly a Nat this off-season.

I didn't realize this, but Cavalli has enormous righty / lefty splits going into tonight:
vs L - .301 / .380 / 425, 5 HR over 222 batter.
vs R - .237 / .309 / .311, 2 HR over 152 batters

Leadoff double to a lefty caused hit trouble in the 1st. Makes the heavy righty lineup an advantage.

The stupid thing is that he has a ton of fade on his changeup and should be able to get lefties with it
