89 through 5. Can try to get another inning out of Griffin.

Maybe. Kind of looked like he missed his footing coming out of 2B

Did we actually pinch hit for our DH?

Are we that blessed with bench bats?

Mead can PH for Tena any time.

If we only had a bullpen good enough to pull our ace after 98 pitches and 6 innings

Just the modern Warren Spahn. Throws every pitch ever invented. "How you pitch to Willie Mays in the 7th influences how you will pitch to Mays in the 9th".

Poulin really should be saved for lefty pockets in the order, not 2 righties then Henderson. I suppose 9-1-2 is better than 2-3-4 but...

Have they changed the rule so that you can now PH for a DH and keep the DH?

I'm OK with pulling Poulin and not having him pitch to Alonso. Ribalta is your best. Got through Poulin's 3 hitters with 2 outs. OK.

My stomach drops anytime Butera marches out with a lead.

I thought if you PH for a DH the pitcher assumed that spot?

Butera handles the pitchers just like Matt Williams.
