Chapman threw it harder, 105.8 (and 105.7).

PCA fouled off the 105.5.

So, it's Sam Wilson as Captain America, not Steve Rogers. I suppose Rogers was an Expo.

I seem to recall that they used to say you could not throw a ball over 103 when Chapman came up.

Yes but Miz is throwing 100 late in games.  Doing it as a starter is more impressive IMHO.

Chaparro mashes AAA pitching, but just can't do anything in the big leagues.

.364 OBP vs LHP. Mostly on walks.

Wow I didn't know that Captain America's real name was Steve Rogers. The Expo Steve Rogers will always be remembered for having given up the game-winning homer to Rick Monday in the last decisive 1981 NLCS game against the Dodgers... not very "Captain America"ish of him lol

Bullpen hasn’t blow a lead, so there’s that.

You cant keep pitching Lord multiple innings like this. He's wearing down.

Yep.  If we only had a few more effective guys.  He's at 59 now.

Heroic effort by Lord.  He clearly doesn't have the command of his pitches he had just a few weeks ago, but he didn't give in despite an abusive pitch count.

Woods is lost at the plate. He’s a glorified Adam Dunn.

pressing. HE was crushing the ball in Tampa but getting flyouts. He's been more ineffective and aggressive since then

The players look beaten. Butera and Frandsen can blather about the long season, ups and downs, been here before, etc etc. This is not good.
