we did that with Palmquist.

You want Granillo? Perales?

Cornelio is not eligible yet. I would have tried Henry and sent down Parker, but that's it

Try Cormnelio and Perales. Parker is terrible.

He can not play them?  WTF?  He has to play the players he has on the roster.  Trying to maximize their chances of success is a core job duty, he can't make them good when they're not though.  And how do you know he hasn't gone to the GM and Pres demanding changes?  I don't know that, maybe you have an inside source.

The issue is he has a crappy bullpen. We all know that. But putting the same
Guys out in the same situations they always fail at is as the saying is doing the same things over and over and expecting different results is a sign of insanity.

And in my opinion the learners put all these 30 year old in place so they will accept the crap given and not question it.

I think I need a break from this team. That series is about as embarrassing as it gets. Of course it was going to be Harper to finish it off. Just so we get that extra dose of embarrassment.

To those who questioned why Varland wasn’t used the past several games tho he was well rested your answer can be found in the box score.

When pitchers are scared of the strike zone you need to move them down with hopes of fixing the problem or move them out period. If the owner is okay with torturing the fans  then don’t spend your money on a product that is going to frustrate and demoralize you. This was horrible. I feel bad for the fans and players that have put so much effort into this team with no support from the owners. Horrible

This is what happens when you trade away pitching talent year after year.

When I said 'three-in-a-row', I was only kidding, guys...You could almost hear the groans of disbelief on this side of the Atlantic...

Our Nine Silly Men become the only team, bar the 2001 Phillies (ironically), to achieve this feat - if we can call it that...

They surely can't do four - can they?... ;)

I've avoided Phillies games ever since Stan Kasten decided to defile 2010 opening day with 70 busloads of drunks picked up at CBP and shuttled to the Half St vomitorium.
