Nice spot to try Beeter. He's been better than Varland or Lovelady lately.

So Wood plays RF, and Lord must hit if his spot comes up in the 9th. Pinch-hit? Use another reliever for the bottom of the 9th?

Vivas and then Beeter for the 9th.

Maybe another run? Why Keibert rather than Millas today?

The squeeze was a little  too cute for my taste. Ruiz has been killing lefties. I want Nunez to steal and Ruiz to swing away. I get 1 out is when to try a safety squeeze but  I felt the reliever was shaky and that could have been multiple runs.

Crews seems to be getting it now. I hope this continues. Abrams, Wood and Crews with a little better pitching staff could probably carry you far if all 3 play up to their potential
Wish we could add payroll and make a trade.

OK, Dan...now the Rays are a run behind. That's why that run matters.

Never mind. Just saw he's posted a 7.94 ERA in his last 7 appearances.
