Avila is the #6 prospect for the Royals per FG, with 4 average to above average pitches but with command problems. Stacast says 2 fastballs ($ seam and sinker) thrown ~25% of the time as well as a slider 25%, with the rest split between curve and change. Tries to get ahead but high contact rate.

Littell had an awful start against Seattle last time out but was good his prior 7 appearances (4 starts, 3 with openers): 2.27 ERA / 3.46 FIP over 35.2 IP, with just 3.9 HR/FB%

I think only Lord and Varland are unavailable.

Parker and Poulin are well rested. Ribalta, Lovelady, and Schultz worked yesterday but threw 15 pitches or fewer and had at least 1 day rest prior. Beeter had thrown both prior days and warmed up in the 9th, so probably doesn't pitch except maybe a short stint.

I'm guessing that with 4 relievers used Tuesday and with Bichette / Thomas, Butera skipped Poulin opening
