I'm feeling like another mammoth upset is in store tonight.  Neymar can't dive and roll like he did in his prime.

Yes. Broken leg. That's why the Canadian players and reserves circled. Did not want their player tp be videoed while in such pain.

A signal as to how much pain was that he was inhaling on 'the Green Whistle' - it's an oral morphine spray dispenser.  :(

Wow. Reminds me of a fine QB for the Redskins who suffered a compound fracture in a game against the Giants. The cameras turned away, and did not show a replay. And that's why Jesse Marsch was so furious that he refused to make nice with the Qatari coach.

Note: Cantor does not bother with "nil"

Dos a cero is a message to Mexico

I bet on 3-1.  Could use a couple goals.

They're playing generally well but some of those weak passes in their own zone have to stop.  Won't cut it against the better teams.

Incidentally, what's coverage like, in the US? Over here, if a game's on the BBC (as now) you can watch in glorious 4K UHD.  :D  On ITV, however, it's 1080 only...

Cantor: "Australian rules futbol" after Soutah, I think it was, is given a yellow for grabbing a US player around the neck.

Breathless exuberance in non-native 4k (upscaled from a 1080p HDR signal).

The announcers sound like they have been huffing gas, as if they were commentating on a tide pod Tik Tok challenge.  Ian Darke is much better

Been watching on Fox.  The usual crew.  I don't pay attention.  Sometimes I watch Telemunod and then I like cause I don't know what they're saying.  Background noise.

Telemundo makes it easy to follow. Andres Cantor names the player who touches the ball. He also adds some non-word sound effects, an eery "eeeyieeh" as someone makes a clumsy pass down close. Nothing like the elegant, and humorous, John Cgampion who does the most important6 Premier League games on Peacock. Two styles. Cantyor makes me feel on the field.

Notable: about forty years ago, the US team was made of college kids. Pure amateurs who had never been pushed and elbowed and tripped on the field. Today, just after Andres Cantor joked about "Australian rules futbol" when an Australian player grabbed a US player around the neck and from behind, Chris Richards, who plays defense for Crystal Palace, leveled an Australian.

gonna be a lot of destroyed  furniture in Boston hotels if Scotland loses.

PS - Everyone in Boston laughs at calling Gillette "Boston Stadium" when it's closer to Providence, RI than Boston.
