I thought I had seen an Argentine play typical of Christian Romero, the superb defender and collector of red cards, who plays for Spurs. Skilled at passing forward. Romero might be sold because he gets carded so often. Thought Romero was out injured, but no, that was him.

Nope. VAR finds that Egypt player committed foul taking the ball from an Argentine player down near the Egypt goal. That started the field-long scramble to the Egyptian shot. No goal.

Another "Goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooal" for Egypt. This one will not be taken down. A scramble around the Egypt goal, headed back downfield, Egypt out runs Argentine defenders, passes, and goal. 2-0 Egypt. Disaster rolling down on Argentina.
