Thew Telemundo announcers tell you who has the ball, and you can see what happens. No need for tactics and strategies and such. It is easy to follow your eyes. I usually got to the Guardian just before game time, and look at the lineups. That's enough. The Guardian has a minute-by-minute description of the game, and that is helpful, but only a little. You know what you saw. You know when a team is playing hard or slowing down. And it is amusing to hear Andres Cantor say, "Falta! No senior" when a player demands a foul to be called but the ref waves it off. And I remember tiny bits of my Spanish from 60 years ago, but, as you say, the announcers speak too fast
