Chaparro has just looked anemic at the plate.

2 hits 17 AB’s

All things considered, Curtis has been a hell of a pick up.

Yep.  Great attitude, learning and improving.  If he could become an average 3rd B what a win it would be for us.

If Cavalli gets back on track next inning, then he could go through 7

Not implausible.  If he started doing something off kilter this staff is capable of making mid-inning corrections.

Seeing Ruiz trying to run that was fast was pretty comical. I'm not even mad he got out.

He really turned on the jets, such as they are.

Reminds me of this one cross country practice I had in High School. We were going up this really steep hill Arlington was doing these exaggerated arm movements and i was going at a brisk pace and passed him. For some people it just comes more natural.

I was worrying about Cavali in the 6th. Get out of it, at 87 pitches. Who takes over?

87 pitches. Close call whether to push him for one more inning or give the reliever a clean inning. Ribalta, Lovelady, Varland?

i'd give him some leash. Not K'ing, drawing walks. Mostly hitting it hard. I think it will come around
