Cantillo is a high walk guy (4.34/9, 11.6 BB%), so his FIP is 4.14. S;lightly suppressed HR/FB (9.7%). Average K guy (21.9 K%). Nice split between his fastball (91.8) and changeup (80.4), which  is his best pitch. Throws a nice curve, too. Classic crafty lefty

Schneeman is a nice  hitter. He's in for Hoskins, DeLAuter moves to DH, Kwan to LF and Schneeman in CF

Chappy and Garcia swap out against the lefty, and  Ruiz gets the start because it is a lefty.

Cavalli has stronger defense independent stats than Cantillo (3.15 FIP), 25.1K%/BB7.8%, and a low HR/FB (5.5%)

The way the home ump is going, DeLauter losing a challenge may be a big help. Of course, that requires Bailey to make a mistake on the last challenge.

What did I miss here?

BTW...whatever happened to those goofy helmets some pitchers were wearing for a year or so?

If we can find some pitching (don’t say trade CJ. I’m not doing it lol). This is a legit playoff team.

I don't mind the Mead caught stealing with 2 strikes 2 outs. It gives CJ a fresh AB.

Chaparro has just looked anemic at the plate.
