Darnell Coles must’ve been genuinely horrible at his job.
I mean, he's currently the assistant hitting coach for Atlanta. Can't be too terrible at it.

Agreed. They gotta let him throw 85+ pitches tonight
great chance to stretch him out a bit.

Facing 6-7-8 this inning - Martinez, Kwan, and Bailey, with Rocchio in the hole.  He's at 68  pitches, so should be able to get through 7. After that,  Schultz or Parker can wrap up.

I'm good if they take him out now. Unless he also wants to give up a single to Bazzana, then I'd be fine with that too.

Isn't the Assistant Hitting Coach that guy that puts the balls in the bucket during BP?

Littell has pitched five innings with only one run. Has Butera found a way to make the starters useful?

And, yes, let Littell pitch another.

Let him finish this out.  No reason not to

Hoskins just sitting on that pitch and wanted to chill out on the bench for the rest of the night. Can't say I blame him.

94 pitches. I think you can pull him and let a single inning guy take the 9th.

Great job by Littell. FIP hates him some, but his ERA for the month might be below 2.

Keep him in.   Either way, great job from Littell.  This sets us up really well for the sweep.   Can unload the entire clip on Wednesday with the day off the following day.

Interesting you would say that.  I dunno about sweep, but I am feeling it a bit - we could blow past .500 in the next couple of weeks, the team is really starting to gel.  Pitching in particular, which was previously a huge weakness, is coming together nicely.

Littell was awesome tonight after the 4th. Didn't let the rough 2 innings shake him up. Saves the bullpen.

Sweep would set us up for a huge run with the schedule getting softer

Rizzo, Davey, and Coles need to be arrested for domestic terrorism for what they did to this team post-2019.  First time over .500 on Memorial Day since 2018 IIRC.
