Last 15 games for the Mets they are 10-5. Ewing is a recent call up and one of their top prospects.

Nats benching Nasim vs the righty to get a better hitter (Vivas) into the lineup while Millas is catching. Just two righties in this lineup. Nats are 8-5 over their last 13, and are 5-2 in their last 7 series.

Irvin 3 starts in May are not encouraging - 13 IP, 8.31 ERA.
