There is no reason that Ribalta could not have finished the game.

In the top of the 7th, went to the kitchen to start cooking spaghettis. Cavallie looked like he was at the end. Just returned...BOOM!

Touching .500 by blowing out the O's has that extra special sauce.

All those fans!! Exactly what Clark Griffith hoped for when he allowed the Hoffbergers to bring the St. Louis Browns into Nationals territory.

Yes, The Old Fox called them "The Nationals". I called them "The Senators", but Bob Wolf and Arch McDonald did as Griff told them. Dad and Grandaddy called them Senators, so I did too. Across Washington, we called our team by both names, but always "Nats" for short. Topps Baseball Cards was as confused as I was.

And this is why Angelos was a fool to keep baseball from The District for so long, and why he should have wanted an AL team, like the Twins, in Washington. Incidentally, repeating myself, I met CALZGR8 on a listserv for the Washington Senators as she organized people to  (Best I remember, MLB wanted to contract two teams: Montreal and Minnesota. Bringing the Twins home would have fixed all the malarky about franchise statistics.) Great that the New Nationals have crushed Baltimore again!

Back to .500!

Lile keeps hitting

And maybe House? And Keibert? (If Borgshulte and Butera have fixed Keibert's hitting, then they both deserve a spot in the DC Sports Hall at the Stadium) And Young??
