Irvin has increased his strikeouts vs 2025 and cut back on the HRs/9 and /FB. BB% is slightly elevated (from 7.9% but still below average (9.1% vs 9.5%).

Lodolo is coming of a rough 1st start 5 days ago but had a good year last year.

Nats are using their standard line up vs lefties. Unfortunately, there's a pocket to bring in a lefty reliever against 8-9-1 with 2 poor switch hitters in front of Wood, then switch to a righty for Mead, House, CJ, and Young. Nice for CJ, not so good for the other matchups.

Well, let's see what adjustments the Nats make to Lodolo because what they did in the first didn't work.
