This was a step back, both in terms of the quality and the length of the appearance. Giving up 3 in 4 innings was most of the lead. 4 innings meant Parker in an inning early (although I said at the time it should have been Ribalta or Schultz). IDK if Parker's stuff declined when he came back out or if the lefty hitters were just prepped better knowing he was likely to pitch, but there was no deception. He was due for one of these, especially against a division rival who has seen him the past 2 years.
