We'd be in a way better position if Gore and Bennett were still in the organization.

Bennett wasn't brilliant last time out, but he was adequate. That's a deal that is not looking good right now.

Man, he even sucks at fielding too.

I'd be way happier with him as our No.5 than Littell right now.

Perales eats a roster slot and he's not MLB ready. Gambling on an injury recovery while  his clock is  ticking. Probably going to need to make him a reliever.

Yeah the move seemed like a response to trading away Ferrer for Ford, but the problem isn't the bullpen depth right now, it's the starting pitching.

He's catching on to our team culture.

on his last option. What do you do  with him if he stays wild? fWIW, there were  lots of man-crushes on Perales at SoSH, but even there others recognized he was not working out as a starter on the schedule that worked. Bennett was thought of as their 8th - 11th starter by some, but he had options so OK. I forget if this was after the Harrison / Durbin deal. Clearly underestimated without wow velocity, but his extension makes up for it.

I would  not let Littell throw the 7th. It's a spot for a righty, but it's 3rd time through vs some tough hitters. I'd go Ribalta or maybe Schultz.

No reason Litell is on this team tomorrow.  He’s killing the entire team

He can't be counted on as a bulk inning rotation guy, with or without an opener. It takes too many relievers to bring home a successful appearance. Let him be your low lev long guy until he shows something.
