Hindsight is 20/20, but I’m giving Young the bunt sign with one if not two strikes. And I’m not sending Young and risking taking the bat out of Wood’s hands.

just a defensive replacement outfielder and maybe a tolerable short side of platoon bat. Has not been a base stealer since his 1st 25 attempt successful streak.

Yep. I’m not sure what you do since we don’t really have anybody better? Maybe Crews becomes that guy but that looks pretty bleak at this point. I wish we could play JY in more of a Difo or MAT role as opposed to an everyday player.
