bullpen is very rested. Just Poulin and Lovelady pitched yesterday.  Beeter and Lord have had lots of rest. Parker a couple days off. Chappy will be back down when the bullpen is used more

Only lefties in the lineup are Wood and Lile now with Chappy up. Abrams getting rest

Instead of Chappy, should have been Yoyo, but Yoyo is not on the 40-man. Abimelec Ortiz hits as badly as Chaparro, and Ortiz is also on the 40-man. This should change by mid-season.

Yoyo: .336 average, .90s OPS. Yoyo for 1B, and 3B unless House starts to hit more.

Frank Howard at Comiskey Park I. A friend from Oxon Hill was there in 1966 (maybe 65?) when Howard hit a line-drive that the shortstop leaped for. It kept rising, and hit behind the CF fence with a sound like a doom of thunder.  Maybe 8 feet above the CF's leap and over the 20 foot wall. He was a power-hitter.
